FRANCIS "Mike" GLEASON

Francis E. “Mike” Gleason, 65, formerly of Crawfordville, died Monday in Audubon Hospital at Louisville, Ky. Mr. Gleason was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church at Louisville and was a retired member of General Electric. Born Oct. 25, 1915, at Crawfordsville, he was a son of Michael and Mabel Gleason. He was married to Dorothy Pope, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Michael J. of Louisville; a daughter, Deborah Gleason of Louisville; a stepson, Charles Poynter of Cincinnati, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lynn Low of Louisville; five sisters, Catherine Gleason and Mrs. Wemple Dodds of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Don Reinert of Hindsdale, Ill., Mrs. Joe Badicki of Topeka, Kan., and Mrs. H.E. Shaller of Highland; and four stepgrand-children. His remains were cremated. Arrangements were made by Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home,, Okolona branch, at Louisville. smc
